The Maritime Museum is currently looking to recruit for the following positions. Please note that these are both under the CE (Community Employment) Scheme

Museum Receptionist – CE Scheme
Duties will include:
Meeting and greeting of our  visitors, phone answering and managing bookings and enquiries.

Taking admission fees and gift shop sales, till operation and till reconciliation at the end of the day.

This position will include weekend work.

Caretaker / Cleaner / Maintenance – CE Scheme

This position will include maintenance in a Heritage Building which was a former Mariners Church but now houses the National Maritime Museum

You will be required to assist with the general upkeep and cleanliness of the building and the grounds, setting up for events such as weddings, book and product launches, baby naming ceremonies etc.

The job will entail working weekends and occasional evenings.

The position is in the above area. This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career. Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over for the Childcare, Health and Social Care sectors and 25 years of age or over for all other areas.
