How do I get to the Maritime Museum:

The Museum is a five-minute walk from Dun Laoghaire DART station. There are also a variety of busses that service the Dun Laoghaire area (7, 7n, 46a, 46n,59, 63, 75 and 111.)

What are the opening times

We are open seven days a week from 11:00am to 5:00pm (last entry is 4:00pm)

How much does it Cost

Regular - €8
Family - €18 (2 Adults, 2 Children)
Students - €6 (Third level)
Senior - €6
Children under 12 - €4
Children age 13 to 17 - €5

Can I book a group visit:

Yes, we accept groups. There can be school groups or private groups. Please email giving the proposed dates and nature of the visit and we will get back to you with details and prices  

Is the Museum Wheelchair Accessible

The Museum is fully accessible to Wheelchair users except for the Gallery.

Can I use the library?

The library is by appointment only. Please see our library page for further details  

Can the Museum be hired as a venue:

We hire the Museum for Weddings and Private functions. You can get details from our Venu Hire page.

Can I get a guided tour:

Yes, our volunteers are delighted to help. However, please contact us in advance giving use the date you wish to visit to make sure that we have a volunteer on site that day.

Do you have WIFI

Yes, through the building, just ask at reception for details.
