Polychrome

Polychrome is an exhibition by three Dublin-based visual artists united by a shared passion for colour.

Murray, Rice presents collaborative relief paintings inspired by the primal forces of water, wind, and fire. These works extend beyond the traditional frame, with shapes and forms spilling into the surrounding space. They also transform recycled and repurposed materials into dynamic, vibrant compositions — highlighting themes of sustainability while reimagining the possibilities of painting.

Stephen Taylor offers a series of paintings where colour itself takes the lead. Guided by pigment, water, and brush, the works explore the interplay of line and form, creating endless chromatic possibilities. His landscapes—real, remembered, and imagined—become journeys through colour, evoking both memory and imagination.

Together, Murray, Rice, and Taylor are explorers of colour, charting new pathways illuminated by vivid, complementary hues. Their work invites viewers to embark on a journey into the boundless possibilities of painting.
