Ireland’s first ever international symposium on the history, heritage and culture of flags and emblems will be held in Dún Laoghaire, Co. Dublin, in May 2013.
Jointly organised by the Genealogical Society of Ireland and the National Maritime Museum of Ireland, the symposium will open on Europe Day, May 9th and run until Saturday May 11th 2013 and will feature lectures, workshops, exhibitions and public events
